- The LSU team with Shaq, Chris Jackson, Stanley Roberts, Vernel Singleton, etc., etc., etc. ... biggest fricking underachievers in the history of NCAA b-ball.

- Dale Brown is overrated as frick by many.

- Peyton Manning, and all of the Mannings, are a bunch of fake-arse phonies.

- ESPN was way better in 1982.

- The NBA era from about 1981 until 1996 is GOAT.

- There is nothing special at all about Notre Dame, and Rudy was offsides. South Bend is a shithole.

- Facebook, along with all that other crap like instragram, snapchat, and such ... is for homosexuals and should be abolished.

Soccer would be great if:

1. You had less people on the field. Let's say six a side;
2. You made the field smaller. Let's say 200' x 85';
3. You gave them sticks;
4. You put them on ice; and
5. You gave them skates.

Play a basketball player with foul trouble. It's rooted in the philosophy of the inability to have ones cake and eat it too. The player will sit on the bench with foul trouble or he will sit on the bench fouled out. If he fouls out, you played him for the maximum time you could play him

Maybe

Peyton was still a better QB than Brady

The love for that movie fascinates me

It is heavily fictionalized, the real Rudy is generally acknowledged to be an a-hole, and he spent at least a decade trying to sell his minimally interesting story to Hollywood

I was surprised to learn it was such a favorite among Generation XBox, I guess b/c it was run so much on cable TV in the '90s

It's one of the few movies that celebrates the bully team with no sense of sportsmanship that runs up the score to further embarrass the overmatched underdog. It would be like making Rocky 4, except the Russian whips his arse, then takes a break and let's his wife slap Rocky in the late rounds, before polishing him off with a knockout blow.

I'm sure every school has a similar story to walk-ons as Notre Dame.

It's a good movie but a total PR piece for Notre Dame.

I love when the groundskeeper says:

"And you hung in with the best college football team in the land for two years."

In Rudy's big year...1975, Notre Dame finsihed #17 in the nation.

Even the previous year, they finished #5.

So for two years...not really the best team in the land.

Baseball is boring as hell unless you're at the game or your team is playing in a tourney. And in both scenarios alcohol is essential.

I think this is excessive but I do think there are probably 5-10 guys throughout history that if paired with BB and the patriots organization of the last decade plus would have had similar success to Brady. Maybe not the total number of championships but multiple for sure and continued dominance over that division.

Doesn't even have to be more goals. Just make the field smaller. Less players on each side. More flow to game would make it somewhat more watchable. I saw an indoor soccer game on ESPN a long time ago. It was so much better than watching any soccer game today.

He said unpopular opinions, not incorrect opinions.

How would you like to measure fundamentals? Let's start with free throw percentage...

Welp, 2016-2017 has the highest free throw percentage of any season on record in the NBA.

It must be turnovers then. Nah, can't be turnovers because 2016-2017 is the second lowest turnover per game average of all time.

Obviously it's sloppy play and fouls then, right? Well I'll be damned, 2016-2017 is the 3rd lowest amount of personal fouls per game of all time too.

The average NBA player is better at the "fundamentals" now than they've ever been.

It is a fact that Brady is a great QB, but he benefits greatly from being on the Patriots. This is not stupid. The Patriots consistently put a better team around him than any other top qb in the league at least of the last 15 years, maybe ever.

Americans would like soccer more if goals were worth 7 points. A 3-2 match would be 21-14.

People who like Big 12 football hate soccer.

I wish college football still ended in ties.

Sometimes, the teams are just that evenly matched and neither deserves to lose.
