It did nothing to the Rangers. I'm sure it did quite a bit to Meier.

So is Gallant fired tomorrow?

Rangers have a lot of questions going forward with an aging core and all the assets moved for the deadline acquisitions. No closer than before.

Their situation seems similar to Boston but with less success

You know it is a weird year in the playoffs when the only original six team left is Toronto.

The team known for blowing it in the first round and yet here they still are

None of the teams left have won a Stanley Cup since the Canes in ‘06.

My prediction is the winners of Oilers-VGK and Leafs-Panthers will play for the Cup

Stars get the 8:30 CST time for both Game 1 & 2, further proving Gary Bettman does not want me to get normal sleep

I have the same issue as a Nashville fan when the Preds are in the hunt. I’d be pretty happy if the NHL added a couple for teams west of TN and moved the Preds to the eastern conference.

If the Panthers beat the Leafs, this will be an insane first 2 rounds. I'd be so disappointed to lose to anyone at that point. All I know is disappointment though

Beating the Bruins was so satisfying. You're welcome, Habs

At least you are on central time. Sure was fun when I was younger and the Wings were in the Western Conference... playing against the California teams and the 10:30 starts was great! Triple OT after that start time... even better!

Yeah, those late night western conference games were the good old days.

Toronto is lit. I hope they pound Florida.

Why would a Wings fan root for Toronto? Why would an American root for Toronto?

I have no reason to hate Toronto.

Panthers on the board first.

From a pure hockey point of view one can argue that the best finals matchup would be Toronto vs. Edmonton. Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Reilly, O'Reilly and Tavares versus McDavid, Draisaidel, Nugent-Hopkins, Kane, and Hyman.

I still hold to the belief that if you just spoke EDM vs TOR into the universe, you just spoke a Canadian civil war into existence
