Avs are going to have a hard time doing much of anything if we keep winding up on the PK.

Some absolutely boneheaded stuff so far, and we're hurting on depth with Val out for who the f knows why.

That’s it for Tampa. Even the Leafs won’t blow a 3-1 series lead.

The sound you are hearing is the sound of every Bruins fan snickering at you.

We've seen far, far stranger things in the playoffs. Like a team blowing a 3-0 series lead, and then a 3-0 lead in game 7

Looks like Avs came out flat 4th freaking time in a row wtf

I think it's mainly the grind of a season its been with the injuries. You can tell the guys are tired.

Except MacKinnon, but I'm not sure playoff MacKinnon really knows how to take a night off.

I think we're seeing tonight exactly how big having Val out is for Colorado. We're not seeing enough congestion in front of Grub, and that's exactly what Val brings to the table.

Obviously there's something way bigger than hockey going on there, though.

Yeah I was worried they would put so much effort into winning the division they wouldn’t have enough in the tank for the playoffs

They played fewest games of a cup winner in recent years (tied with first LAK run) so everyone got spoiled

100%. The only time it felt like we were in trouble was when we didn't close out the second round against St. Louis in Game 5 at home. TYFYS Helm.

Pretty sure this feeling is a bit more normal in the postseason

EDIT: That was about as bad of a start as Colorado could've drawn up, and it's pretty lucky at this point that it's only 2-0.

Avs just had injuries catch up.

Like someone said earlier guys look tired.

They need a fight to get everyone fired up, almost had one after the first.

I sincerely hope the Kraken don’t run out of gas. Great start for the Squid Squad.

Oh, for sure, I'm the guy who said it

I think any realistic Avs fan has seen an early round exit (I know metallica and I have, at least) given the grind the regular season was without any significant improvement availability wise. Bednar has proven his worth, but damn... if we made the WCF that dude deserves a raise based on the contract extension he just signed a couple of months ago.

Landeskog spoke some magic in the first intermission for Game 2. I don't know that it is a fight the Avs need (particularly given the injury/head issues so many of the guys have had lately), but we're definitely missing 92 and the calm presence he brings in this situation.

I figured it would be a second round exit.

I think it's safe to say they won't at this point. That doesn't mean Colorado can't flip the switch in an instant, we know they can, but I don't think it would be that Seattle ran out of this oomph we're seeing from them right now.

This doesn't even look like a desperation kind of thing either, they're absolutely destroying COL right now.

Seattle seems to have a bit of a problem playing with the lead.
