Hard to hold a lead against a team with a clear top tier talent advantage. At some point, that top tier talent will get theirs.

Solid flop by LOC, but obviously a penalty.

Not sure how that wasn’t interference with the hit on Rantanen, but if they let them play through stuff like that the rest of the way I’m good with it!

Yeah, there were two chances to put this one to sleep, but Seattle missed an easy deflection to take a lead too.

The pushback from Colorado was surprising, in a small way, and promising regardless of how this OT goes.

I’m starting to think the Avs might be better off sitting Manson.

Dude does not look up to par (understandable given the injuries).

Dude, there is no talent disparity favoring the Kraken against the Avs. Come on.

Easily one of the worst games I’ve ever seen Makar play.

We’ll see what happens in Denver come Wednesday, but we might be seeing the injury bug coming to our detriment.

Correct. There is a major depth disparity that wouldn’t exist if the Avs were healthy, though.

It’s pretty funny to hear an Avs fan complain about the Kraken having some sort of unfair advantage in their second season because of an expansion draft. The Avs got a Stanley Cup Champion caliber Quebec Nordiques team in their debut season. Silver spoon much?

I’m sorry, but where did I ever say anything of this sort?

Gotcha.

I think for the Avs this isn’t surprising given the injuries.

I think more long term than most, but with the lack of details for Nichuskin and lack of certainty for the Landeskog situation, I’m not so confident in the roster moving forward.

I understand. I know the Avs have had a lot of difficulty with injuries this year.

It’s funny though that none of the talking heads ever mention that the Kraken have been skating without their top point scorer, Andre Burakovsky, since the All Star break.
