There’s not a team that made the second round that would trade rosters with the Kraken.

Some want to credit the expansion draft for their success, but where’s the overpowered roster that’s reflective of it? It’s all B level talent. There is one 40 goal scorer on the team, and he had exactly 40 goals in the regular season. Their best player hasn’t even skated since the first week of March.

The Kraken are built on chemistry, good coaching, conservative team management, and depth. They added no one at the trade deadline. They have three undrafted players in the starting lineup. They have two rookies pulling heavy minutes and one of them was in the AHL when the playoffs started.

I can’t speak for Vegas. I don’t really follow them… but you saw the Kraken last year. They were pitiful. When everyone was oogling the Boston Bruins all year, they missed the best story in hockey - the improvement and the fun put out there every week by the Kraken.

And that’s why I’m rooted bigtime for Seattle tonight. Plus they have the best white unis in the league.. they are just top notch.

Yeah well, Dallas was built through the real draft.

Whew, for some reason power went out at my house around 5:30. Power company texted me that power would be back on around 7:30. I guess 6:45 is around 7:30.

They weren't bad for an expansion team last year. The 1974 Washington Capitals won eight games their entire first year in the league. That is pitiful.

It's pretty hard for a team on the power play to keep the puck in the offensive zone for the entire two minutes without letting the penalty killers change and still not score.

And all the whiny Canadiens think Bettman won't let any Canadian team win. Yet he still sat in the same throne he is now when the Oilers and Maple Laughs kept winning the lottery.

Yup. Albert is really good but this game 7 is missing the most important piece…. Doc Emmerick…. The GOAT….
