Can't decide how to feel about Edmonton tonight
They put up the shots but since I turned the game on at 2-1 they never really seemed in control or any real sustained threat to score besides a few chances

There it is. Season over.
Vegas had a ton of zone time that final period and plenty of shots but I never really felt like they were a threat to score.

Most commonly picked Finals was Oilers-Bruins 
Vegas and Carolina are two very good/consistent teams and Florida/Seattle/Dallas are playing well at the right time, Florida very much so
Will be an interesting final four although not very tempting for the neutral/casual viewer

Yeah, I heard the same about Hill vs. Edmonton's power play and after he let in the first 2 shots tonight. Let's see what plays out. Hell, even if Hill flames out, it's not like VGK don't have a few backups with valuable in game experience.

Vegas has now made the conference finals 4 out of 6 years in existence, and Seattle is knocking on the door of the conference final already.
The new expansion draft format is proving to be very favorable. And yes, I’m still mad that the 90s expansion teams were not given these rules.

The salary cap is what really affected the last 2 expansion drafts, especially with VGK. GMs saw them as a chance to dump bad contracts and were practically throwing players at Seattle and VGK. Look, we don't want you to choose this player...so pick that player instead and we'll give you this guy along with him and some spending cash. Now, shut up and take our $$$.
