Football or track? If he ran a legit 4.5 40 yard dash, and he sounds like from your above post he also ran track, then he should have been in line for a track scholarship to a big D-I school like A&M, LSU, etc.

this is good speed but very plausible. Notice that it was 100 yards the poster ran back in the day. This equates to a very respectable but other worldly 11.0+ 100 meters.

Was the heck is not believable about this? I didn't claim any 4.34 time, I didn't say I was 6'1" and 235 pounds and could bench 500 pounds. I didn't say I was an Olympic athlete. Are you always this skeptical?
I said I ran D3 track, not even D2. I didn't even say I was an All American, I said I was competitive-lots of 3rd-6th places-certainly nothing to write home about.
People on here are amazing. I suppose if you said you are a pilot, people should suspect you are lying?

Speed demons here, I ran 1 hand timed 40 and that was at SELU when they started up the football team and had open tryouts
