Sweet, I made the list!! My time was HH, so it would probably be a 4.90-4.95 or so FAT time.
BTW, I was 6'1" and 175 pounds and was competitive in the 100 and 200 running D3 track at the time.

back in middle school we used to race the 40 for sour straws... my fastest was 4.73, timed on a timex wristwatch
so it was probably more like 4.78
won a whole pack of straws that day, bitches loved me.

I haven't read more than about 10 posts in this thread, and I'm going to say you nailed it.

I don't think I've ever ran a timed 40. Alot of this is BS, but I do believe some of the guys times.
My dunking a basketball thread was at least filed with honesty.
Is there a place where you can go to get timed in the 40? I would do it for shuts and giggles, i would you tube the results.

4.8 Played tight end in HS.
Would be the 10th fastest time by a tight end this year
6th fastest in 2012
and
10th best in 2011

i know lots of these are way exagerated, but is it that hard to believe lots of HS athletes were fast as shite but had no other attributes that would make them perform at the next level?
my freshman year we had a RB who ran like a 4.5 laser time. he was also 5'5 and weighed maybe 145... weak, couldnt take a hit, always ran out of bounds, WHITE. not a college ball player.
he set a shite ton of records in track
i mean there are a lot of high school linemen in the country right now who can run the same 40 times as players in the combine.... the difference is the players in the combine are ALL one full foot taller and double the weight..... so its not that hard to believe in my mind

Could be believable if he went on to a D-I track scholarship. Did he?
