Why would I pay 11 dollars for free channels?

I only pay for cable during football season. MLB.TV comes free for me so I can watch all of the baseball games that I want. I enjoy the NBA but I'm not going to pay for cable to watch their games.

I don't like to pay for drinking water, but sometimes I do - it's convenience and packaging. e.g. I might want CBS on my phone or laptop etc without jumping through hoops.

$30 package I'd pay for easily.

NBC $2 (EPL)
SEC Network $5
CBS $3

My most watched streaming platform is Peacock since it has EPL on weekends and a few games during the week. OTA broadcasts give me Texans and Cowboys football so I am set for NFL action although I’m going to miss Redzone this year.

Only things I care to watch live are sports so a $30 all-included ESPN package would be awesome. Hulu subscription for everything else.

Only thing missing is current AMC shows, but all of their hits from the past 10 years (Breaking Bad, BCS, Walking Dead, etc) are already on Netflix.

ABC

FOX Bundle $8 (They get $2-6 per subscriber via cable/satellite)
Fox
FS1
FS2

CBS Bundle $5 (They get $1-2 per subscriber via cable/satellite

CBS

NBC Bundle $10 (Already have through Peacock)

I'm fine without the others, though would entertain a Bally Bundle and Turner bundle if price point was good at least seasonally.

It’s watched in this house and that’s what we’d pay monthly to keep it.

Something that includes Bally Sports would be nice. This bs of having to use a VPN to get around the MLB blackouts is for the birds. But I do it anyway lol

Does ESPN classic still exist?

I’ll take this as a strictly hypothetical.

The only ones I don’t pick are

ESPN classic
FS2 (not much worth watching there, I can’t remember watching a full event on there, maybe a few minutes of a D list cbb game)
Golf network
MLB
HGTV (is this a troll?)

49 bucks is a lot less than I pay now, pretty much only channel not listed I’d want is Comedy Central for South Park, maybe GSN
