all you want, but I'm glad the Red Sox lost most of their bandwagon fans. It's what lead to the idiotic CC/Lackey signings.

Bradley is starting.

He'll go back down to the minors whenever Ortiz comes back though, they need him down there 20 days so we can get the year in his prime back under team control.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

They should have kept his arse down for 20 days.

I want the 2019 version of Bradly, not three weeks of rookie Bradley.

If he's all he's cracked up to be, make him a franchise type player... If he walks in 2019, odds are it'll be because there are better options.

FWIW, I think the rule is dumb and waters down baseball, the best players should be playing at the highest level, period.

Fwiw, my buddy just saw him play in a spring training game and said he looks unreal. But yeah, I wouldn't mind letting him stay down for a bit.

Love some of the young players. Should be a more fun team to pull for this year than the past couple. Can't believe we are still stuck with Lackey getting $15 million to suck every 5th day.

The Lackey contract just never made any sense. Not even using hindsight to see how big of a disaster it really was, that contract was troubling from the beginning.

I still think we over paid for the free agents this go around, but nothing as terrible as the Lackey deal.

ETA: Chances Bard regains his form and returns mid season throwing gas in the pen?

Exactly, I hate the signing from day 1, it's was overspending because of a need instead of finding someone that fit our need. Like no way does lackey fit our team, and he doesn't deserve the $$$$.

Yeah I wasn't a fan of any of the contracts, but they're not long term deals so I'm not as worried about it.

Hated him as a starter, love him as guy from the pen. I'm expecting the old bard this season
