I'm pretty damn pumped about this years Sox team. Flying way under the radar in the AL east. If the starting pitching can pitch to their potential, Lester and Bucholtz of 3 years ago, Lackey just not get shelled, and Dempster and Dubront step up. The bull pen could be one of the best. Solid acquisitions in the offseason as well. Most of all, no Bobby V.

I'm fricking pumped for JBJ. I talked to a couple gamecock fans on the SECr who said every sign pointed to him being a solid player for us.
Seems to be excellent in the field. With above above contact at the plate. Not a lot of power but could be a solid number 2 hitter for us as the season develops.
We need petey and jacoby to have big years if we are going to make some noise.
I have a good feeling about the bullpen. I hope the starters can step up. I have faith in Farrel. fricking hated Bobby V. Thought he would fail from the get go.
Love the fact that we are under the radar this year. Get as much pressure off these guys as possible. We are still the Red Sox and won't accept basement dwelling, but no one is thinking we might have a run this year.

Jbj had 3 walks a RBI 2 runs an stole extra bases from cano great start. Lester was dealin, bull pen was money. Pedroia and ellsbury carrying the offense makes me very happy !
