I mean there was zero shot he was going to play for Boston anyways, so John Henry can argue he tried, and turtle. Full throttle , dude just wants to own franchises in every sport at this point, and is willing to squeeze Sox fans to do it.

This probably doesn't happen if MLB wasn't such cucks when it came to the cheating scandal. Time to watch people defend billionaires not wanting to spend money and those same fans shite talk capitalism.

Sasaki should get more tbh. He's 6'4" 200 and 22 years old, Moto is 5'10" 180 and 25.

Not sure I really agree with the whole buying a championship angle. Plenty of other teams offered Ohtani and Yamamoto similar money. Just sound like a lot of people are butthurt they chose a team they don’t like.

I haven't seen anything about an offer from the Red Sox. It hasn't even been confirmed that we got a second meeting after it was confirmed that there were no offers from any team after the first round of meetings.

It's over a billion dollars on two players.

No one offered Ohtani the deal he us getting with 68 mil deferred. No one even came close to that.

And you're a Dodger fan. Of course you don't see it for what it actually is. What a shock.

Look I'm not as butt hurt as some others are about this, purely because the Sox killed me when they traded Mookie and the sport is borderline dead to me anyways, but this is just a comical take.

Dodgers buying a championship again. Wow we're all shocked.

What do you mean buying another championship? They’ve been spending crazy money for a few years now and ll they have to show for it is a bullshite Covid trophy.

The last time NY or LA has sniffed a trophy that’s worth anything is 2009. We’re talking a decade and a half.

I think anyone that’s paid attention to baseball over the last 20 years know that just because you attempt to buy a trophy, you fail. Look at SD this past season as well.

The Dodgers have spent more than $1.1 billion this winter with the signings of Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Shohei Ohtani and Tyler Glasnow. Unreal offseason.

The other 29 teams in MLB have spent less than $900 million combined.

That's something.
