considering Bonds was better than Griffey at almost everything, I don't see why

tankyank, well you may not care that he was...is...a dick. The mother with the pre teen boy next to her, asking politely for his autograph post game in his last yr and being told " I don't sign no fricking autographs" I am sure cares a lot about his character. The boy teared up & then dropped his Giant pennant on the parking lot & walked away. Had his mother had a gun, not much doubt this arse wipe could have met his Maker that nite. We were standing near by, heard/saw it all & it was all my wife could do to pull me away: we had our 3 kids with us.- Screw this classless prick.

And I still dont care

The guy could turn on a fast ball like no one I have yet to see, even if he was expecting an off speed pitch. As a fan I dont look for nice guys I look for skill that will entertain me. And he was that

I think I stole from someone who posted it here actually, just can't remember 100%, but this is my favorite one:

There are 415 pitchers against whom Bonds went hitless (0 for 739 overall), yet he still posted a .331 OBP(higher than leage average) against those pitchers.

But.....But..I won't even acknowledge how sick that is because he was an a-hole and made a pre teen weep

Defending an a-hole by attacking me is real classy. Much like your hero. And, btw: I could have easily taken him down. You have no idea re my background. Unfortunately for you, Bond's background is universally known. And, yea, mocking a 8-9-10 yr old kid is real cool, too. All in the spirit of defending a POS. I get the last laugh, though, as he will never get in the HOF.

Umm no.

That would be the dude with one testicle. But Bonds and Arod are 2a and 2b.

I knkw steroids were everywhere but for a guy who was already a HOF to feel the need to juice just tells you how much he needed to be "the guy". I at least can understand a fringe minor league guy juicing.
Agreed. What makes Bonds' offense worse in my mind is that he very well could have still retired as one of the top 3-5 players of all-time had he not cheated. It isn't like he was a nobody who suddenly became notable when he juiced. He was already well on his way to an insane career.
