Grats on the series win, should be more exciting in October when half the roster isn’t injured.

Yep. Yanks are only two games back in the Loss column for the Division lead.

Once the World Series Yankees vs Dodgers games happen this October, the Yanks will be full strength and will wipe the floor with the Dodgers. Yank pitchers will "Don Larsen" the Dodgers.

Take THAT, Uncle Dominick. Boy was he mad last night. He called me up and wanted Duke Snider to be DFA'd.

Half the team, including the Greatest Right Handed Hitter of All Time THE JUDGE, are injured. Get back in the trash can, but make sure you move it before the storm comes in. I wouldn’t want you to drown between the rain and the tears you cry over Will Wade.

Albert Pujols, Hank Aaron, and the legendary Rogers Hornsby would like a word

Here we go again with Jim repeating the same thing over and over. Games one and three were toss ups, and the Dodgers won Game two. It's not far-fetched to say that the Yankees could beat the Dodgers at full strength. I think people forget how Great Aaron Judge is. The Yankees have not lost a series while having home field since Aaron Judge has played for the Yankees (but they have won multiple series when NOT having home field). I do not need to discuss any series with the Houston Astros; we all know what happened.

Pitching is way better than it was back when Hank and Rogers played. Judge would be cranking 90 DONGs a year. If people did not intentionally injure Aaron Judge, he would have 450 DONGs with .300 BA. Imagine if he plays 21 seasons.

All relative squirt. Both pitching AND hitting have evolved. You can’t just single out pitching, although I’m not surprised you frame it that way to fit your narrative.

When did this happen?

He won’t. He’ll be lucky to see 15.

To be fair, Pujols and Aaron never had a 4 year stretch like what Aaron has had, what they do have though is 15 years of consistency. Hornsby is better than all of them

So why are the Red Sox on a heater while being decimated by injuries and running an average looking team (on paper) without their ace, without several key players? 4 guys out injured is not "half the team" as you say.
