@MarcCarig: Cashman says he’ll be seeking a trade for Gray, for his sake and the sake of the Yankees. So, on a day when Cashman was pretty guarded about offseason, he was clear on Sonny Gray. If he finds a trade for him, he’s getting moved out of here.

Pretty nice cheap option for a team that needs SP and thinks they can contend next year. Someone like Tampa or Milwaukee should be all over this

Nothing wrong with him that a little pine tar can't fix.

Would be amazing but I suspect Cashman wouldn’t want to trade him to us unless we offer way more than any other team

oh yeah he's going to an NL team or a non contender in the AL. Cashman isn't going to risk Strom fixing him and having Gray come back around to bite him in the arse.

It is Yankee park that is his downfall, dude has 3.17 ERA on the road but a 7 ERA at home

I don't see why Oakland wouldn't take him back?

I don’t think a one year $9M acquisition makes much sense for the Braves unless they can get out from under Teheran.

Yeah, he is going to be good for someone. And the Yankees will get pennies on the dollar for him. When they could have use the prospects they gave up for him in a deal for Verlander or Cole.

It is amazing to me that Cashman is seemingly never on the hot seat. He is absolutely terrible. One WS appearance in 15 years.

With Didi having Tommy John surgery, send him back to Oakland for Mateo

No, he needs to get out of the AL East, those band boxes were the death of him.

He'd be perfect for Zona,Giants,Padres,etc
