Still would like to get one of Gavin Floyd/John Danks/Matt Garza

no they aren't going to set the world on fire, but I would take any one of them over Hughes at this point

Nakajima Highlights

I really like his swing. Just browsing numbers, he appears to be one of the premiere Japanese SSs. If he comes cheap, I approve. Nunez has been tossed around in some trade discussion and Nakajima appears to be better offensively. If he is a decent fielder he's already an upgrade over Nunez. Could provide some good flexibility as a utility guy.

ETA: That music gives me boners.

So Damon, Matsui, or Ibanez who do you want the Yankees to sign?

Damon is the only one worth anything IMO. Ibanez has been on a steep decline the last 2 years. Matsui's bat isn't good enough to make up for the fact that he cant run the bases or play defense. Damon is still a solid bat, he can play a few games in LF if needed, and he is still solid on the bases.

No idea.

Damon was surprisingly productive last year but I think we need more pop from a DH.

Ibanez could MAYBE fill that spot but he was hot garbage last year.

Matsui...meh.

I saw an article on pinstripe alley the other day that was decent. Talked about JD's batting and why we should pick him up. Cited his OBP, P/PA, and how he's at LEAST putting the ball in play. The only advantage I see with him over the other 2 is that while he can't throw the ball 10 feet, he can play left better than the other 2 since he still has his legs.

Eric Chavez would be option or is he retiring?
Vlad
Hermedia
Hell even Derek Lee as an option and he can still play field

Does Mags have anything left?

Injuries make it risky.

Why not go after Cespedes?
