Kyle still young enough to turn it around, only what 23/24?
I would take him in a heart beat, work on mechanics and see if he could turn it around.

A little surprised with this.

Dude needs to gain some muscle. He's a pole.

It is, but I can't really imagine the Yankees in Manhattan. There's just something about the Yankees playing in the shithole that is the Bronx

$2-million bid. Don't really see much of an upside with the guy but he has to be better than Nunez.

Meh...I expect DJ and Bitch Tits to get more time off this season. Nunez's biggest asset was supposedly his glove, which hasn't been good. His bat hasn't been dog-shite terrible, but if we can upgrade the bench then I'm all for it. IMO our bench has been one of our biggest strengths the last few seasons.

Meh... he is 24 years old with a total of 50 AB at the MLB level prior to this season....

He did manage a .265 BA and .313 OBP... he needs to learn how to take a walk...

Maybe just lenght of season wore down on him, prior to All-Star break in 122 AB he hit .279 with a .318 OB and after he hit .257 BA with a .310 OBP in 187 AB....

Not ready to give up on someone that young who does have some talent.

That BA that he had would have put him 6th on Yankees roster ahead of players such as Granderson, Swisher, Tex, Gardner, A. Jones, R. Martin and E. Chavez. His OBP would have put him at the bottom however

Truth. He isn't terrible, I just think he's a project guy as of now. Give him ABs in AAA for a year or two and call him up if needed. He shouldn't be starting over 80 games. I haven't read up a ton on Nakajima, but he's Japanese so he has to be somewhat fundamentally sound

Nunez will never be an all star type player if he can't learn how to play defense.
