Those are the conditions, and if they want to bitch, they can bitch at MLB, which ordered the roof open. The Astros have wanted it closed to hold in noise and amplify home-field advantage. Frankly, I’m glad the roof was open because it was a nice night in Houston with low humidity and baseball is meant to be played outside. The conditions were the same for both teams.
The Yankees now get their home-field advantage of playing in a toy box, which suits their sluggers and their roster. That’s the beauty of playing at home. If the Astros want to win, they’ll make good pitches, play good defense and try scoring some runs for a change. The conditions will be the same for both teams.

So are the Yankees
Yankees were the original cheaters. Astros just did it better. That seems to be a trend these days.

do the yankees ever get sick of being the biggest douchers in sports?

It’s not really an excuse. A 91mph homerun is flukey, just as a 106moh ball being an out is flukey
Baseball is a weird sport

I just don’t understand this. Did both teams not play in the same conditions? They are acting like they closed the roof when the Astros bat and opened it when the Yankees did

Aaron Judge being a literal giant makes me think all of his fly outs will be HRs. Almost can’t blame him for saying it, but the fact is the roof WAS open and it was a windy night.
That near HR would have won the game for them.
Ok...try this one on for size:
If "the greatest team ever assembled" hadn't gagged on itself after the All-Star break, they could have had home field advantage, last night's game would have been at Yankee Stadium, and Judge's ball would have been a HR.
But they blew what was at one point a 7 game lead for best record in the AL and had to travel for the first 2 games instead. Want to play more games at your ballpark?? Win more games during the regular season, assholes.

Exit velocity isn't the only thing that sends a ball out of a ballpark. Bregman puts a lot of backspin on the ball, which helps it carry further. He doesn't have to murder a baseball to get it over the fence.
The Crawford Boxes were open for business all night. The Yankees had 9 innings worth of chances to deposit balls out there, but they didn't do it.
