I think they’re pretty content being reigning champs. You can’t get greedy as a fan and expect a championship every year. You have to enjoy each season as it unfolds. If you’re only happy when you win championships that’s a miserable existence for 99% of sports fans.

Yep. Not all of us want to be Bama fans.

I’d rather lose every game than be a bama fan and win every game. But their run is over. It will be a while before they’re legit title contenders again.

I'm glad I got to see one World Series win in my lifetime. It may have been a fluke, but unlike the Astros' first win, it isn't tainted.

Hoping they’ll be sellers for trade deadline is where I am at. It was all gravy this year. Langford is finally coming into his own. Just hope Carter returns and has similar type of return to goodness.

This is what you should be worried about. Very good chance you did.

As a Ranger fan, they have been without many star players most of the year. They should get healthy once Jung comes back but it might be too late.

At this point lets play some young guys and get ready for next year.

I said from day 1 this year the Astros are still the team to beat and still think they win the West going away. They have the most talented roster.

Rangers dominating the Rays today. Hardly surprised, as it was just a matter of time until the offense got going.

Seager is catching fire. Heim with 4 hits. Langford with 4 hits. Sweep of the Rays.

Bust out the brooms on the Rays and headed to Anaheim. Hope they keep the momentum going.

Definitely somewhat underrepprted. Maybe the lack of attention demonstrates their WS season was more of a fluke. Terrible before last year and now terrible again.

How did the Manager do at San Fransisco? He wins one then the next season misses the playoff. Then wins a championship again. That is how his team has been. Same thing happening at Texas Rangers.

buddy we could lose every game this year and it would still be worth it to have won the world series last year while ending Houston's season in their park
