Wojnarowski writing a negative article about Lebron without naming sources?

SHOCKER!

quote:

From Team USA coach Mike Krzyzewski to managing director Jerry Colangelo to NBA elders, the issue of James’ immaturity and downright disrespectfulness had become a consuming topic on the march to the Olympics

quote:

Team USA assigned Jason Kidd to babysit him at the Tournament of the Americas in 2007

And yet Coach K spoke so highly to the media about James, even saying that James, Kidd, and Kobe were the outright leaders of the team.

If all the nonsense Wojnarowski wrote was true, Coach K NEVER would have openly said Lebron was a leader on that team. No chance.

James needed to be courted, needed to be wooed and apparently it surprised him there was a star who wasn’t falling over himself to do that.

What's funny is Dwade, BEFORE Miami's season was over, said he was excited about free agency, because he liked the feeling of being wooed, and yet I NEVER saw 1 post on the MSB about Dwade being a selfish, primadonna.

Weird.

Yeah, I remember that. Somehow once of his articles of evidence was just Lebron saying he was the leader

Are you and the rest REALLY this uneducated about the 2008 US basketball team?

LINK

Coach K said:

quote:

His leadership. I think he is natural leader and can be a great leader and became an outstanding leader for us. Now, being one of the leaders on the Olympic team is one thing. Now he is a star and a leader of the leader of the Cleveland Cavaliers and I think it's something he loves. As good of a player he is, I think he's a better leader."

You guys are really showing your true hating colors and making yourself look pretty silly.

this. I'm pretty pissed off at the guy, but where the frick were these allegations 2 years ago? I honestly don't see a cover-up if he was such a dick during that period. It seemed to me he was one of the leaders and well liked by his teammates.

Not sure I'm buying this article, as much as I'd really love to right now.

Like I said, this guy has written probably 5 or 6 articles just in the past 2 months.

ALL of these articles has nothing but unnamed sources with a bunch of info we've NEVER heard before, but all of a sudden Wojnarowski has all these sources telling him this? Even, though every sign points to the opposite being true in regards to this article.

Even the Lebron haters should be pretty suspicious of this Wojnarowski guy, but alas, they just blindly hate and assume all these unnamed sources all are legit sources.

It shouldn't come to a surprise to anybody that a kid who's been glorified as the second coming since he was a sophomore in high school has an ego or maturity problem. Unlike MJ or Kobe he didn't have a strong father figure in his live, I mean for god sakes he was raised by a women that would frick Delonte West. Add in his group of boys who are never going to say no to the King and of course you're going to have a guy who's immature and has a massive ego.

i don't disagree with any of this

however, when the first attempt to check him came down, he apparently listened

isn't that all you can hope for in the situation?

This article is a lie. I can't wait till lebron beats the lakers next year then craps in all your faces. He wants to win championships who cares that he won't be the next Jordan. No one will

Right. For as talented as he is on the court, he is equally terrible off the court.

MJ was the two time consensus player of the year and had was heavily marketed by Nike before ever playing a league game. He might be the most hyped player of the last 40 years besides LeBron. Although hype back then wasn't what it is now.

Sorry but you are wrong about that. Being that I am a diehard UNC basketball fan I think I am qualified to chime in on this subject. 2 other teams didn't even think he was worth a spot on their team back then, see Houston and Portland.

Just to set you straight. If Jordan was so hyped, why was he picked 3rd in the draft? He was in no way hyped as much as Lebron or even close. What started Jordan's NBA legacy was he 63 points against Boston in the playoffs in his second year. His on the court actions during that game showed the first glimpse of his greatness. He single handedly took over the game and let it be known how he would be a force in the league for years.

Reminds me of Saban here. I heard alot of inside stories about Saban while he was here, but they were rarley re-told publicly, even on message boards like this, cause when they were folks were shouted down, ridiculed and flat out told they were fabricating stories.

When Saban went to Bama all those stories were allowed to flow out unchallenged.

Chicago officials never directly requested Rose to reach out with a call, and the young point guard felt James could’ve always reached out to him had he wanted to discuss the possibility of playing together. James needed to be courted, needed to be wooed and apparently it surprised him there was a star who wasn’t falling over himself to do that.

Holy shite. If that's true, Derrick Rose is the man.

When you're dating a girl and your friends point out her real or perceived flaws, you tend to ignore them or feel insulted by them. When you break up with her, you feel more inclined to believe what your friends say or said, even if the things that they say or said were not true.

Basically, your Saban analogy and the other nonsense that we're seeing here is very similar to the reaction of a jilted lover.
