I love that the terrible call to end the game has completely overshadowed the 2 terrible calls that kept the drive going. First there was the roughing the passer call after GB had intercepted Wilson. Then the Def PI call on Shields when he got mugged by Rice on a deep ball after 3 straight holding penalties on Sea.

Yeah, that was unbelievably awful. It's obvious to me that the 12th man in Seattle got in the referees' heads.

Just stating that I don't think it's a catch until you get both feet on the ground. By then, the wr had two hands on the ball.
So basically for someone to make an INT or reception, all they have to do is catch the receiever in the air as he catches the ball, fall on their back and reach around them with two hands and touch the ball?!?

Yeah, should have been like, 1st down and 45 or something

Worst NFL call I have ever seen. First of all, blatent offensive pass Interference. Then the DB catches the ball brings it into his chest, tate is behind him and reaches around to get one hand on the ball, they land and in the scrum he reaches around with the other hand to get it on the ball as well. The DB CLEARLY had possession first. It wasn't the replay booth's fault. All they could do was determine if the WR ended up with his hands on the ball, not if he caught it first. Goodell is turning the NFL into a joke and I think its getting to the point where they need to look into replacing him.

They should have flagged Pete Carroll for being a douche and jumping up and down in the endzone celebrating before they even sorted out the pile of players from that hail mary.

New information. NFL ref on Mike and Mike says posession begins in air. No one except TD.com refs were saying that last night. Maybe I just wanted the Seahawks to win.
I was wrong. Kill me.

it is clear that the people that believe a correct call was made last night are just trolling, right?

Pete saying it was a good call shows how much integrity he has

they read the rule, on air, about 30 times. Of course possession begins in the air, it is common sense
he didn't possess the ball on the ground either
