Catching a home run is once in a lifetime stuff for most people, so no. I’m not giving it to a kid and I’m not throwing it back. This ain’t Mardi Gras beads

At the end of the day it's still just a baseball. And you'll always have the story no matter what.

Subtle, I’ve been to a baseball game brag.

One of the fun parts of my job - park for the night, see if the local team is in town or a good concert and Uber/Lyft over. Company I work for has terminals/drop yards in most major metros so it keeps life interesting.

People who root for more than one MLB team have deep psychological issues.

Yeah you get like 5 seconds of cheers when you throw the ball back and them forever forgotten about vs actually having a baseball you caught at a stadium which you get to keep.

Keep the ball.

I’ve been a magnet for both HR’s and Foul balls over the years. I’ve given every one away to nearby kids. Over 10 times really crazy

and they’re halfhearted and lame, like winning a timeout contest at a NBA game or a dizzy bat race

read his book too as a kid. I studied the tricks again before every big league game I went to. That book was my bible as a young baseball loving kid.

His tricks work, no doubt. He’s just a self-serving d-bag. He gets the balls, then gives them to a kid. He wants to look like the nice guy instead of just letting kids run after them.

His twitter feed is also cringeworthy. He also alludes to some ‘miserable childhood’ on a few occasions. His current existence seems to be some giant look-at-me schtick.

Only place you'd be expected to throw it back is at Wrigley.

Not true! At MMP the crowd will yell at you to throw it back till you do.

If I were to sit where I might get one, I'd bring a cheap spare ball.

I bet you guys who would so treasure that baseball are the same grown men who bring a glove to the game.
