So do I. I'd rather win the World Cup over the Super Bowl every day of the week.

In my case I would rather the Saints win a Super Bowl over LSU winning a natty, but it's pretty close
I'll assume you didn't attend the University of Saints, nor work for that particular professional business organization. You may have attended LSU though and have memories of your time in the city, on the campus, and all the thigns you did there. With that in mind I don't see how anyone could pick a super bowl.

Pretty much every team I root for except the Lions has won or been near the top at least once in my life. Michigan's half championship was enough for me. Gotta go with the jinxed franchise that has one playoff win in 60 years. Detroit would combust if they ever win it all.

Super Bowl easily. I’ve never celebrated as much as I did in ‘09. Ofcourse I’m also a Bama fan so I’ve seen a lot of championships. I didn’t even get upset really when Bama lost. Saints lose and I’ll be a miserable dick for atleast a week.

Is this your way of admitting you don’t understand anything that happens outside of the US in the world of sports?

No, soccer is gay. Who cares?

National title.
Being a fan of a middle of the pack power 5 school the thought of winning a national title seems way more far fetched than my favorite NFL team winning a super bowl.
College has ~20 bluebloods who run the show and get most of the talent.
NFL the talent is shared as much as the league can allow. 30 years ago the Saints were god awful. Now they have been atleast a playoff team on right on the edge of being a playoff team due to Sean Payton and Drew Brees. Also the NFL you are only competing against 31 other franchises.

I fully understand that every 4 years the US gets its arse kicked at passing a ball around with their feet for 90 minutes (if we are even allowed to participate).

Right now, I'd take a Bucs Super Bowl.
But that would hold me over for about 20 years and it'd be all hoping Alabama won the championship after that.

100% disagree, 09 was not just a "thing".

It’s still so surreal to me that after so many years of suckage, “next year,” and not knowing if they’d ever win one...yet here we are on the cusp of winning a 2nd in a 9 year span. So crazy to think about
Its mind blowing.
A Super Bowl carries more respect IMO across the sports world.

I went to LSU but am also from New Orleans and grew up my entire life a Saints fan.
I love LSU but I want a Super Bowl if I have to pick.

Outside of winning the world cup and European football titles winning the SB is the biggest sports related accomplishment in the world.

03 was way bigger. Way way bigger.
09 was just a thing.
College title was full of Louisiana boys.US.Not professional contractors.
Grown men in NOLA doesn’t equal cities and small towns across the state. West & NW La aren’t the Saints fans you believe them to be.
Everyone is a tiger or at least realizes how important LSU is.
Lol what a shitty troll

Ya now that I've slept on it, I think I was more emotional when the Hartley nailed the fg to beat the Vikes and earn the trip to the SB than I was the 03 NC. So the NFC championship even beat college which is crazy.
Part of all this is A) Nola went thru hell and back so this was an emotional outlet of hope and B) LSU had to basically share the title so we immediately had to go on the defensive as soon as it was over, which probably took away some of the joy.

Considering I’m totally indifferent on rooting interests for nfl, I’d say an LSU title

College, but that's only because I've seen my NFL team win 3 Super Bowls in my lifetime. I wasn't alive to see 1980.
