No. Notre Dame's schedule is the standard for an independent to make the playoffs

He’s started to get a few, after last season ended at least. I believe he was a RB or FB and played at BYU and was a pretty decent player. I think it’s one of those things where he would maybe not leave BYU sort of like a Pat Fitzgerald situation. His Alma mater, he’s developed a pretty good program, may be hard to pull him away from there.

Half the schedule is Pac12, plus an ACC and Big 12 team. 7 power 5s, so I’d think yes assuming there’s not 4 undefeated P5 champions

The committee will come up with all kinds of excuses to deny them if they finish undefeated even though they'd be fine putting USC, OU, or Texas in w/the exact same schedule.
