Got tob lebtard. I was a regular listener until he just had to become hyper political. Do sports… it’s not thst hard and I saw a clip of him today talking about the fights and it was eating him up that it was a success. He’s insufferable

Bleck and Abdalla on Westwood One are absolutely terrible. It's the equivalent to listening to high schoolers talk about sports. And it's mostly Chicago related

WWL needs 8pm to midnight programming. Is this ever going to return? They had it for years.

Peak ESPN (Baton Rouge) Radio Broadcasting was 2010:
1. Mike and Mike
2. The Herd
3. SVP and Rusillo
4. AFR (I like AFR, me)
5. I don’t remember the evening show but whatever it was I remember it being pretty good. ETA: Doug Gottleib.
Bonus for Sunday morning Ronnie Rantz show.
You could listen to ESPN Radio all day and it was enjoyable.

National sports radio has taken a massive dip lately. The constant yelling and over-the-top hot takes get old fast. Sometimes you just want actual, insightful sports analysis instead of people trying to create forced drama for clicks.

Evan Cohen (formerly of Sirius Mad Dog Sports, Chris Canty (Former NFL Dlineman) and Michelle Smallmon (kinda cute St Louis chick from what I gather).
It is so bad. They have the fake disagreements about whatever topic is being discussed and make fun of the hot blonde for just about everything.
Yes, that's the one - Smallman is cute - but I can't see her on the radio so that does me no good. Heard her one day going on and on about wanting to have a house party for her birthday and modeling it after some cross between the part at the frat house on Old School and the movie House Party, it was brutal and pandering to a target audience that probably wasn't even listening.
To your point I have not heard about the fake disagreements but it lines up with the times I've heard them.

Lebatard was awful years ago - I don't even understand how anybody liked it
It was just blabbering about nothing; you could listen for 30 minutes and not hear a thing about sports
That really became his thing - he became above talking about sports at some point - he was too smart for to do that anymore at least in his mind I think - and just kind of made fun of it as part of his schtick - he decided lecturing us on socio-political topics was his calling and he took that to another level.

Was Freddie Coleman the night show? That was great too.

I purchased Sirius radio just so I had a 24/7 sports talk show, but you would have to pay me to listen to the college sports radio. They must not require background checks, because they way those guys talk there is no way they could pass one. It's disappointing Sirius doesn't have respectable people on the show.

Chris Mad Dog Russo’s show on Mad Dog Sports Radio is an abomination. It’s just 3 hours of him obnoxiously yelling into the mic. Legit has given me migraines

I know there's some nostalgia with Mike & Mike in the morning, but that was always a super weak radio show back when it was on.
Anything with Mike Greenberg on it is too corporate and bland.

Evan Cohen started here locally in West Palm Beach. Completely unlistenable. How he made it nationally, I have no idea.

I came here to say this. I’d rather stick my head in an oven

I don't think there is a single show on Westwood One Sports I like more than the Infinity Sports Network shows it got rid of when they bought it. Also it should be called Westwood One Sports Betting because half the shows are sponsored by MGM and spend three quarters of the show talking about what bets they are going to place.

It's on a betting station that's why

The general purpose national sports shows are horrific right now, due to stupid hosts and the fact that their audiences are primarily gamblers who know nothing nor care nothing about sports.
Real fans have other places to go. The shows on all the Sirius XM sports specific channels are excellent. The Best is Jacob Hester and Pat Kirwin on SXM NFL Radio...outstanding show. The shows on MLB, NBA, and NHL radio and NASCAR, PGA Tour and others are great too

Is Cowherd still around? he was horrible on ESPN. I assume he's not changed.
