The 5th down for Colorado gets little emotion from me. The refs lost track of downs, but on what should have been 4th down Colorado spiked the ball. They would have never done that if the refs had the down correctly and they still would have gotten a play off. Whose to say they wouldn’t have scored on that hurried up 4th down play?

First, several of those calls are definitely subjective and sometimes go one way, other times another way. These are the type of calls everyone complains with during every single NFL game.
However there was no single call in that game anywhere close to the no call yesterday.

Oh, ok when it’s your team getting the benefit of the shitty calls it’s ok. That hit on Favre was the definition of roughing. That PI on Leber was the definition of uncatchable. Two game changers and a possible 14 point swing. Can’t have your cake and eat it to. That 09 game was 10 times worse officiated and more controversial than yesterday. But it’s ok because the Saints benefited.

Armando Galarraga’s perfect game that was fricked over by a shite ump who needed to be the center of attention...I don’t care that the ump apologized later, the pitcher got royally fricked.

First off, Joyce was a great ump. He was voted best umpire by a poll of MLB players. He made a bad call and he faced the media right after the game and admitted his mistake. He handled a professional mistake the way I hope any person would. He owned up to it and took full responsibility and didn't try to blame anyone else.
That said, Joyce missing that call is the best thing that ever happened to Galarraga. The imperfect game is famous and probably more famous than any perfect game other than Don Larsen's. Galarraga was out of baseball by 2012 but people will always remember him because of the missed call. No one remembers, say, Tom Browning's perfect game unless they are a die hard Reds fan.
Galarraga got the win and he achieved immortality, even more than he would have gotten if Joyce makes the correct call. And Joyce gave us a model on how people should behave when they publicly screw up.

I love when internet hero’s come on here calling people stupid because they disagree(or don’t want to see another person’s viewpoint)with their statement. As s Saints fan you can’t or don’t want to see it, but that game was a sham. Go back and search the bad calls in that game. I lost all faith in the NFL after that game. I watch for entertainment , but I know it’s pretty much fixed.

You can and should legitimately argue those were bad calls, but those are calls that are made/not made in every single NFL game and involve some interpretation of a rule.
The play yesterday is a lot bigger than the Saints and will probably result in rule changes. And I've not heard one person, fan or not, argue yesterday was not a penalty. Not one. And thats not even discussing the time of the play. I feel you, but yesterday will always be brought up in the discussion of worst mistakes by officials in any sport.

Yeah, many bad calls that all went against the Vikings. Time makes thing fuzzy, but that game officiating was just as talked about if not more than yesterday’s game.

The blown call yesterday is so much more obvious and had a much more direct effect on the outcome, there is no word better than stupid to describe your post.

Yeah I’d take the perfect game, I didn’t even remember the pitchers name without googling it.
