Yesterday is a new entry into this pantheon, but what are the others; Of the top of my head....

No Call - Saints-Rams 2019 NFC Championship Game
Game 6 Lakers-Kings 2002 Western Conference Finals (entire game)
Don Denkinger - KC-StL Game 6 1985 World Series
1972 Olympics US vs USSR basketball final

What else that directly impacted a championship. I though about the Colorado 5th down in 1990, but that was a mid-season game so it doesn't count in this context?

Edit: additions
2003 Fiesta Bowl (Miami-Ohio St) PI call on Glenn Sharpe - ok due to dispute removing this one

You’re right. They fricked up Gamble’s catch, which would have ended the game in regulation, calling it an incompletion.

I completely forgot about the clear defensive holding they missed on the same play too

2009 NFC Championship game. No called roughing the passer on Brett Favre. Cost the GOAT another Super Bowl.

I vote for the 5th down being the worst because it was so insanely egregious and CU went on to win the AP title, which was the more important one at the time.

Honorable mention goes to the Detroit legal system for not giving Artest and Captain Jack jail time after the Malice in the Palace.

Jeffrey Maier, 1996.

Two separate foot in the crease calls cost two different teams Stanley Cups on awful calls, but no one cares because its the Sabres and the Flames.

Speaking of which, Gretzky getting away with a flagrant high stick against the Leafs in 1993 is pretty bad.

Zola Budd tripping Mary Decker.

Roy Jones being robbed of the gold medal in boxing.

Kent Hrbek lifting Ron Gant's foot off the bag.

The Hand of God.

This because this was simple game management....

I know not many people watch soccer here, but in a Champions League SF, this Norwegian referee denied Chelsea 6 penalty appeals. Four of them were as blatant as that pass interference yesterday. To this day, it's the worst officiated match/game I've ever seen.

It was not a blown call, but the tuck rule is a horrendous rule that was in place.
