MLB does a fine job at promoting its product, it sucks at promoting its players.... they focus more on the teams and rivalries than the individual players because one player can not dictate a game the way he can in football or the NBA

Taubman is certainly appearing to be a dickhead, I will agree with that.
Osuna served his 80 game suspension last year and has been pretty quiet and a model citizen since. It isn't like he is outspoken or anything.
And Gurriel had his deal with Darvish 2 years ago, did his 5 game suspension, and has also been pretty quiet since then.
