Series is over. Just hope the Diamondbacks don't get swept at home.

This World Series is on track to be the lowest viewed ever. Probably somewhat attributable to the matchup but the decline in viewership goes back years. Not my problem as a fan, I've still watched. But it's probably going to be a problem MLB tries to deal with.

They used to draw 20, 30 or even 40 million. Now they're lucky to get to 15. We've heard a lot of complaining about the playoff format this year with 100 win teams getting knocked out early. I'd almost bet MLB is going to look into some kind of reformatting to give more weight to top seeded teams as it should more often favor big spending teams with broader viewership like Dodgers and Yankees.

Yea that’s a “them” problem, like you said. Even last year for Astros and Philly, I was staying at the beach that week and tuned in every game to teach my daughter about the game.

Two fricks weren’t given what the rest of the world was watching. I’m a baseball geek, matchups be damned.

Hell I was in KC early this summer on business and watched Royals vs White Sox, two horrible teams, just to see what they had as far as young talent.

alright boys, my son won his district championship tonight in football.

i'm his head coach, but my full time job took me away so i couldn't celebrate with him. had to celebrate over facetime with the team, which was bittersweet.

i'm about to go get so freaking crunk at a bar and watch this game.

it's been a brutal few decades as rangers, cowboys fan and after today, i'm feeling some magic.

I’m in Bend, Oregon, and have company in front of my friend’s house for the game.

Tucking away games on other than broadcast network during the regular season and not broadcasting away games to the local audience on local networks and MLB TV have been the worst thing they could do insofar as driving fan interest.

They've made it where it's impossible grow the audience for local teams

We have to lead the league in leadoff walks

Our pitchers can’t spell strike
