And does he get to be the GM in Dallas?

The only team where that would be an upgrade.
But no, not happening. Lakers are clearing money off the books, they are not going to take on 50 million dollars.

I heard New York… he’s trying to make up for the summer of 2010 and they hired Mike Brown

But he had no problem picking up his $52M option for this offseason instead of declining it and hitting free agency to be free to sign with a contender.

Only franchise with cap space this offseason is Brooklyn IIRC.

Everyone else would be doing sign and trades.

Dallas fans might burn down Nico Harrison's house if they did that.

Yep could have gone anywhere. Could have also taken a paycut so that they could have competed not forced them to give a guaranteed deal to his washed son etc.

Looks like he might be trying to force a buyout which would also increase his money as well.

Hilarious that he needs more then just luka to win

You guys say the dumbest things. Name one player who didn't need other all-star talents to win?

Lebron should have been a piece in the original Luka trade and it might not have been the worst of all time

Would make for an interesting pair of games that they were both healthy.

Dirk had Kidd as his point guard. But he’s probably ly the closest to carrying the team.
