Women's World Cup soccer players earn a way higher percentage of revenue than the men.

If anything, it's the men who are not being compensated fairly.
Here are the numbers.
The Men's World Cup last year in Russia generated $6 billion in revenue. The teams shared $400 million, or 6.6% of revenue.
The Women's World Cup this year in France generated $131 million in revenue. The teams shared $30 million, or 23% of revenue.
What this tells me is that either the women are vastly overpaid, or the men are vastly underpaid. I think it's the latter.
I don't know what the finances are for the Men's World Cup, but I think it's pretty crappy that they are only paying out 6.6% to the players.
What this comes down to is that the women don't want their fair share. They want to take a share from the men. It's actually the men who should be bitching about a fair share.

I think the women’s issue is earning less than the Men’s team who didn’t even make the World Cup.

I mean that isn’t the full reason they are complaining.
They don’t make as much as the us men’s team per appearance yet they draw more cash in. That is the original basis of their argument.
Basic economics says they shouldn’t make as much as France did for winning the WC. I mean it isn’t possible from the money generated
