Sources: In calls to front offices, Houston GM Daryl Morey is showing an aggressive desire to improve roster with all players and picks available in talks. Hard to imagine James Harden scenario, but the rest under contract - perhaps even Chris Paul - could be moved in right deal.

Might trade James for someone that isn't scared to win in the postseason

Isn't he owed like a billion dollars over the next few years?

I really like Morey as a GM, but that CP3 contract was a ridiculous move. I’m fine if you keep Harden, but I don’t think they are going to be true contenders in the West. This was the last year they had a chance to steal a championship and they blew it for the past two years

Chris Paul finally finding his way to the Lakers at age 34 and $125 million left on his contract is the darkest timeline

Except you know Morey actually means it when he says it. Love a GM who isn't scared to make moves

Wall is also owed like a billion dollars and will be coming off of serious injury.

Yup. Not sure what kind of value Bucky Gordon and/or Capela plus picks would have but you have to see.

All the Harden or Paul deals make the Rockets quite a bit worse so those aren’t happening.

LeGM going to push to make it happen and Houston might want to get out from under that albatross contract.
