Milwaukee has fired coach Jason Kidd, league sources tell ESPN.

This one surprises me. I know they haven't lived up to expectations this year, but I feel like this is a little premature. Still no Jabari. That being said, Kidd has been a pretty atrocious in game coach.

Finally.

Team was seriously underperforming. There’s no reason that roster should only be a game over .500 and in a worse place than they were last year.

Especially in the trash heap known as the Eastern Conference.

He was a horrible hire, but I must admit I gained a little respect for him when he did this.

[Some context: He was out of timeouts, but got to talk to his team as they cleaned up the spill on the floor. Yes. He's saying, "Hit me."]

Good. The Bucks should be a much better team than they've shown this year.

I still can't decide if that's the GOAT or WOAT flop.

If anything this is too late. Doesn’t surprise anyone in the Milwaukee area. A lot of people in the media have been calling for him to be let go for a while.

The right coach can get a lot more out of that roster IMO

He may strike me as a coach who a lot of players love, respect, and fight for, but he's probably a terrible in-game coach. Am I right or wrong in this?

I'm honestly surprised they brought him back for this season. He makes baffling in-game decisions and doubles down on them when the press questions it post-game.

They'll upgrade with Fiz, Monty or the like.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mike Malone isn't too far behind on the chopping block.
