The latest from the WNBA is that they just want an equal percentage of the league's revenue, just like the NBA. What they are missing is that the NBA's revenue is in the billions. The WNBA's is significantly less, in the multi millions. So a bigger cut from a smaller amount going to the players would leave the league's overhead cut significantly: paying rent for the gyms, league personnel salaries, refs pay, insurance all come from the league's revenue. The league office would collapse from non payments.

Even funnier, there is one in the WNBA.
If they really believed their own rhetoric, that wouldn't be allowed. "Sorry, but if you say you're a man then you are. Go try out for the NBA."
Letting transmen play in the WNBA and NWSL is an admission that you are what biology says you are.

I watched a retired, semi-fat, out of shape, former DII male player that does pickup games at his local gym go up against one of the best WNBA players, on youtube. He beat her. And it didn't look particularly difficult for him.

They don't want equality. They want equity. They believe that they should be treated the same as the men even though the men bring in astronomically more money than the women. Equity is when all outputs are equal, regardless of inputs.
