Makes it easier to say the skill level difference is not as far off from the NBA as many think, it’s just the women play more physical.

Caitlin and Paige and Angel were major brands in college.
The WNBA is colossally stupid for not marketing them. If the 5-10 most popular players joined a rival league that league would instantly be more popular.

Reese got "famous" for the ring gesture because fans were watching Caitlin and she ran with that exposure. .Outside of Baton Rogue she wasn't on any fan radar like most women CBB players.
