The thunder aren't built for a deep playoff run anymore.

Starting lineup is great, but bench is terrible.

Kevin Martin may have been the worst player in these playoffs.

I'd say a team with the best scoring option on the planet, the best scoring point guard on the planet, and best shot blocker on the planet is definitely poised for a deep playoff run.

The worst player not named Splitter.

They were more efficient on offense this year compared to last. They were playing lights out until Westbrook went down. Clearly 2nd best team in the league with him and would have given Miami all they could handle.

Slightly better stats in the regular season don't make you a better team.

You had all that last year and then traded away the main reason you survived the conference finals.

Gotta disagree okie. OKC with that tandum would be a great matchup for anyone. But look at the teams miami has struggled with: Indiana, Chicago and Spurs. First two are physical beasts and the Spurs just have ridiculous coaching and play great system defense against LBJ

OKC has none of those traits and in fact are a run n gun type team (or at least they seem that way) which plays HUGELY into the way Miami kills you. The only times the heat really stuck it to the spurs and started scoring runs, was from fast paced, breakaway scoring.

I like OKC, they are really talented, but it wouldn't have surprised me at all if the heat took a MIA/OKC series in 5 again (6 at the most)

Not as long as they have Perkins, they need a better 5 that is a scoring and rebound threat, then maybe...

Hell if the Bulls had a healthy full team all season, the Heat wouldn't have been the one seed or made it to the Finals.

They had the easiest path to a title in at least 35 years.

Makes zero sense. Obvious bias. Obviously mad.

Spurs and Miami would have crushed okc this year.

And I'm actually on the okc bandwagon. I'd love to see KD get some jerwey, but they were not one of the 2 best teams in the league. With or without Westbrook

I thought OKC was going to possibly win it all this year. I think they make it back to the Finals for sure. One major point to take into account is the style of play of each team. Teams like the Spurs and the Pacers tend to be effective against the Heat because they force them out of that run and gun comfort zone with good defense and solid fundamentals. The Thunder are a bit more like the Heat so I don't know which way it'd fall. Judging by how Wade and Bosh played, I'll say OKC with Westbrook has good odds. If I'm betting, I'm taking the Heat, though.
