Federer seemed to beat Nadal with one hand tied behind his back today. Nadal owned the second set, but it was a quick one, so not much real-time dominance from Nadal. This one inches toward an arse-whippin.

Federer needs this last Wimbeldon title. Its insane to think how good he still is while being nearly 5 years older than both Novak and Nadal.

Guys used to have a year 5-10 window max to win Grand Slams. Feels like these guys could keep winning for another decade if they really wanted to.

Don’t see Federer being able to beat djokovic here. He played well today but novak will hurt him where nadal cannot on grass.

I am impressed that Federer pulled it together after that disaster of a second set and played amazing tennis to win the next two.

Sure he was just conserving energy at the end of the second but I was convinced his serve had abandoned him and he was going to go into full shank mode. Thankfully, I was wrong.

the overall slam tally could very well be 20-18-18 going into next year's french

Federer looked incredible late in that match. He broke Nadal’s will with some incredible ground strokes. The final should be pretty epic.

If Djokovic beats Federer on Monday, it’ll be a major surprise if that isn’t the tally next year. I have a hard time thinking of anybody who can beat him at the US or Australian Open. Certainly not Nadal. I don’t see Federer challenging him on hard courts. Stanimal hasn’t made a deep run in a significant hard court tournament in forever. Who is capable of beating the guy?

I'll be watching, but not optimistic, unless Djoker has some kind of mental breakdown like Toegate in the 2016 US Open.

Djokovic is just a tennis robot right now.

I could see Federer retiring if he wins this Wimbledon.

I think Uniqlo would really want him playing Olympics in Tokyo next year.

Fed couldn't win this match in 2014 or 2015, so I don't see it happening this year. I will say that I don't see Novak serving or volleying at the level of Rafa. But, he will be on Fed's serve from the outset, unlike Rafa who needed about a set to read it. It's just going to be too much stress on the old man. Fed said after the match he is exhausted.
