Was the most dominant force in basketball with no peer. Yet when the greatest NBA players of all time he's never mentioned. Seems we're down to Jordan, Kobe and LaBron.
I contend Wilt belongs in any conversation regarding the greatest of all. Sabonis probably does too if you want include international players.

I agree, but the game has changed. With players making a higher percentage of 3 pointers and driving to the basket to get a lay up and draw a foul being dominate his dominance seems archaic now.

Home runs are even valued more in baseball which makes Ruth, Aaron, Mays still in the conversation as the greatest ever. WAR also makes Ty Cobb and Tris Speaker relevant.

Basketball has changed so much.

People started criticizing Wilt after a couple of years with the 76ers for being a selfish player. Wilt only cared about his scoring and rebound stats.

So Wilt decided to have a little fun with his critics by leading the league in assists the next season. He was so much more dominant than the rest of the league.

Twenty thousand sexual partners and didn't die of syphilis. That's what is really impressive.

Wilt averaged 28 and 28 against Bill Russell, considered the greatest defensive player ever.
