It’s been nice not having to see all the threads this year for a 6-5 basketball team.

His team will be primed to make a run in March. Battled some injuries, lost a couple of single digit loss games to SEC teams.

He’ll be dancing once again.

think the only thing probably eating Jay up right now is we finally did the right thing and fired Bob Marlin. Jay Walker thinks those Cajuns fans who wanted the Marlin Entitlement Circle gone are idiots.

I'm sure you are right about that, but then again you'd know much more than me. I do know he was right up there with Vitale and Forde with the Wade vendetta and never missed an opportunity to take a shot, so I just feel like this one stung for him.

Perfect - right out of the Jay-Bird Wire-tap Willie playbook. He's so clever.

Does he still do a radio show?

That’s such a huge accomplishment for a little school like that to be competitive with the teams that actually have a chance to win something.

You do realize that UL Lafayette is the 2nd largest school in the state right?

Probably.

Losing close games to Moo State and the Gumps is understandable.

Losing to Liberty, South Dakota State, and Santa Clara…not so much.

I believe that Wade is an excellent coach, and that they make the tourney. However, unlike last year, they aren’t a sure thing this year.
