Tony Romo also has a higher completion percentage, passer rating and less turnovers.

and the best running game in the league to lean on.

Romo is having a more efficient season, sure. Not a better season.

Is Jay Cutler having a better season, too? You know, more yards and touchdowns.

But Romo? Come on now?

I know it hurts some of y'all to admit it, or even consider it... But once you quit lying to yourself, you can face the fact that right now, today, Romo is a top 5 QB in the league.

No doubt. He's been very good this season. It's time for people to give him the recognition he deserves. He's a much better quarterback than he gets credit for.

He's not in the elite category right now.

Luck is absolutely an elite QB right now.

As for your Romo/Roethlisberger argument, if I had to win one game right now to make the playoffs, I'm taking Luck and not even thinking about it. Give Romo Luck's offensive line and he's on his way to the hospital by the end of the first quarter. As for Big Ben, he has the some of the best playmakers in the league surrounding him. Also, Murray and Bell shite on Richardson/Herron. It's heroic what Luck is doing with his supporting cast

Do you see numbers next to them?

He's been good but he's not being asked to do much which I feel diminishes his season. They've been leaning on Murray all year.

and Jay Cutler only has a couple hundred more yards and has LESS Tds than Romo. Turrible example.

it's not like Luck is barely above him.

He's 1000 yards and 10 TDs above him

So you would take Romo over Brady, Rogers, Peyton, Brees, and Luck right now?

Sorry, but Andrew Luck turns the ball over way too much to be considered elite. I'm not saying he's bad by any means, but he's below elite. You can't be second in the NFL in turnovers and be considered elite. That's just not right.

So Favre was never elite?

Yards should never be used to gauge how good a QB is, YPA is a much better stat to use.

Jamaal Charles leads all RBs with 4 fumbles this year.

LeSean McCoy and Demarco Murray are tied for 2nd with 3 fumbles.

Guess they aren't elite either because if you have the most turnovers you can't be elite!

No doubt. We shouldn't take what type of offense someone runs into account.

Kirk Cousins = tGOAT

It's always something with Romo. He virtually played the last 5 years with the worst defense in the league, no running game and a very sketchy offensive line while still keeping Dallas in playoff contention through the final week of December. But he was underachieving and the reason Dallas shite the bed late in games and or December or whatever other mythical misconception y'all like to throw out there. But now that Luck wins probably the 2nd worst division in football and while being a turnover machine, he's "heroic."

And let's still not give Romo any credit because now he's just blessed with such great talent around him. Pretty much any QB could dominate in that offense. Except his back-up of course.

In some years, yes. In other years, no. Being elite varies from year to year, IMO.

For example, Brett Favre was elite in 2009, but not 2008.

The elite quarterbacks THIS YEAR are Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. They are alone at the top.

Why no Brees?

So.. by your comparison..

Romo being on a shite team and not making the playoffs is >>>> than Andrew Luck being on a shite team and making the playoffs?

Crazy stuff right there.
