Romo has too. The Colts had a top 10 scoring defense last year btw.

Cowboys division has the Eagles, Giants, and Redskins.

Colts have the Jags, Titans, and Texans.

never said Romo didn't have a win. He was saying Romo carried his team when they were shite.

The only thing he carried them to was the offseason. When they had good teams, they made the playoffs. When they had shite teams, they didn't.

When Luck had shite teams, he still went to the playoffs.

Can anyone argue that?

I said No to the discounting Tom Bradys seasons.

Never said it didn't impact QB efficiency. Obviously it impacts QB's efficiency. Hence the reason Romo has been so efficient this year. He has the best RB in the game to lean on (this season). Makes it a lot easier to complete passes when you arent relied on to do as much. Hence the 200 less pass attempts than Luck who doesn't have a running game to rely on.

No, but you have to consider the division he's in. It's full of shite and will be for a while. Texans don't have a QB and Arian Foster isn't getting any younger. Jaguars are a dumpster fire. Titans are a dumpster fire.

Luck will be able to make the playoffs with bad teams and good teams for the foreseeable future. It actually takes effort to make the playoffs in the NFC East.

I think we're arguing about nonsense, really. Luck and Romo have been good this year. One can make an argument that Luck is having a better season and one can make an argument that Romo is having a better season.

And?

Brees is carrying the Saints, and the Saints are shite.

Yes. The Colts have a good team.

You can discount his division but he also won a playoff game just last year.. You can't discount that.

Romo hasn't won a playoff game since 2009 (his only win), or even been in a playoff game since then.

Bottom half in rushing

Bottom half in defense

No offensive playmakers.

Please explain how they are a good team, besides Andrew Luck that is.

What does this have to do with anything? Are you trying to agree with me that Brees carrying his shitty team the playoffs (fingers crossed ) is equal to Romo carrying his shitty teams to the offseason? Or Andrew Luck carrying his shitty teams to the playoffs??

Lol your comparisons are terrible.

TY Hilton is an up and coming WR, not top 10 or anything. Maybe not even top 15 WR. He's pretty good though

Who else? Trent Richardson? Coby Fleener? An old and constantly injured Reggie Wayne? Ahmad Bradshaw??

Let's be real

You said no offensive playmakers.

TY Hilton is 4th in receiving yards and has top 5 speed at the position. Non-playmakers don't put up those numbers or run that fast.

ETA: I'm not even sure when I'm arguing anymore. Is it a Romo vs Luck discussion now?

He's had some all-time terrible defenses during that time period

In 2011, they missed the playoffs. He had an 8 game stretch to end the season where he completed 70+% of his passes, threw for 278 yards/game, and had 21 TDs too 1 Interception.

They missed the playoffs...

A team should be 7-1 or undefeated with that kind of production from the QB position.

My comparison is fine and is not difficult to understand. QBs can play great and lose.

Drew's play is somehow better b/c the rest of our division sucks?

He's 4th in receiving yards and averaging 16.4 ypc.

he's in year 3 and has had back to back 1,000 yard seasons. He's good.

Coby Fleener?

Pretty solid TE

Yea, you have no idea what you're talking about.

He's had 1 injury. He played in every single game from 2002 until his injury last year. In 2012, he was a great receiver. Last year, he was a great receiver.

He's still a weapon, but he's no longer their #1 with the emergence of TY Hilton

Well I've already spoken to this, but you ignored it. Looking at total yards for offense/defense is pretty stupid.

2014 - 15th in total D, 17th in scoring defense, but 8th in turnovers (28 giveaways though), 10th in sacks

2013 - 20th in total D, 9th in scoring D, 15th in turnovers, 11th in sacks

And the NFC East is any better? Or the NFC South?

The Giants and Redskins are among the worst teams in the entire league just like the Titans/Jags

Romo may win 11 games and "not carry his team to the playoffs". The argument of taking your team to the playoffs instead of comparing the actual QB play is retarded. That is Tigerbaits point

Giants have upside but no argument that they've been bad the past couple of years. But let's not forget that they won SBs in 2007 and 2011. No argument about the Redkins. They've been a dumpster fire the past couple as well. That makes three teams. Are we missing one? Surely you didn't skip over a team to make a point.

Please don't tell me you think the NFC East is as bad as the AFC South. Come on, now.

surely you can't be this dumb

Now you're comparing a QB with the best OL in the league and one of the best RBs in the league and one of the best WRs in the league? jesus frick man

Put Luck on the Cowboys with Murray, Dez and that OL

They would run through the NFC East with little to no effort

Are you completely forgetting why Romo is having one of his best years? The Cowboys finally figured out he can't carry a team. Run the ball a ton, keep the defense fresh and throw play action after lulling teams to sleep.

Luck has had zero running game in all three years and rarely has time to throw in the pocket.

Interested to hear your rebuttal

Yes.

Cowboys are good
Eagles are good
Giants have won 2 super bowls while Romo has been QB
Redskins suck

Or the NFC South?

This year? No. Usually? Yes

quote:

Well they aren't good. They've been bad for a while now though.

But the Giants are still a dangerous team. Just look at the point differentials

Giants -22 on the year; -89 last year; +85 in 2012
Redskins - 113; -144 last year; +48 in 2012
Eagles - +69; +60 in 2013;-164 in 2012

Tennessee - 159; -19 last year; -181 in 2012
Jacksonville - 165; -202 last year; -189 in 2012;
Houston +42; -152 last year; +85 in 2012
