I can’t say it’s always the case, but examples I can think of off the top of my head. Spurs miss the playoffs for the first time in forever, get wemby. Pels fans ready to jump off a cliff after a trade to LA, get Zion..also AD. Cavs fans miserable, get hometown LeBron. New start up franchise in a small market, get Shaq and another 1st the next year. Knicks season tix at all time low, get Ewing.

No, I’m not. EY would be absolutely fricked if they were going along with public fraud misleading the entire nation and world like this on airways. It would likely crater them

I’m not saying it’s rigged, it’s just weird
The issue is people will always find an angle.
For example, they will say "big franchise". But then when that doesnt happen they use stuff like what you just used with San Antonio or Zion to the Pelicans

Yeh, it’s always the nba only wants the big markers to succeed
Then fricking Nola wins the lottery in two of the best years ever to win with AD and Zion and the crazies completely pivot and have reasons for that being rigged also

How do we know they even do balls or draw anything? For all we know they do it on paper

There’s zero correlation between the NBA and what you sent. Cool!

It's audited.

There’s a link to the video of them drawing the balls above you.

I know you're probably trolling. But equating the NBA Draft Lottery to Enron and Worldcom is really funny.

Being caught being fraudulent in auditing something like the NBA lottery would absolutely be significantly damaging to any firm
The cons 10000% outweigh the benefits

Even from a legal and business standpoint, it is absolutely significant on the level of those above as well. It is being a party to fraud that has billion dollar implications. You are thinking it isn’t a big deal jsut because “sports”, but it would be absolutely massive
Enron was just a few rogue aisotopes/partners and yet it still took down an absolute titan of a company in Anderson. For EY to be doing fraud here for a client like the NBA in its public light the fraud would be across multiple people and partners. It would be worse on many levels

People that think EY would go along with public fraud and risk their 50 billion dollar a year annual revenue company for the NBA draft are idiots
I used to think this.
Then the Mavericks, with a 1.8% chance, got the #1 pick after trading away a superstar to the most famous franchise with an almost retired Lebron without calling other teams

In all seriousness who is going to catch them?
Who watches the watchmen?
It’s a draft for a game.
The only people with the money to take on the NBA AND EandY is one of the owners. The owners profit based on the overall viewership and as much as competitively they may not like it their profits will be aided by luka with the lakers.

Can you clarify what regulatory body is jumping in to hold an entertainment company and one of its vendors accountable?
Nothing would happen

You might be retarded. EY is paid to go along with the NBA's plan. They have no moral or legal obligations to expose the rigging to the world, especially if their role they are paid handsomely for is to agree with their process and outcomes.
