Different logic used for different teams.

I feel the same about Ohio State. Hardest schedule in college football. Number 1 scoring defense. Only loss to undefeated team on the road.

Committee should've just made it:
1. Georgia
2. Ohio State
3. Texas
4. USC
frick the regular season. We already knew who the best teams were before a single game was played.

FSU didn't though. There is no sense to be made of this debacle with all of the logical inconsistencies.

It’s not the best 4 teams. Never has been and I don’t care what a committee member says.
The fact that he was justifying the decision and said Jordan Travis’ name is mind-boggling. Apparently injuries are as big of a talking point as anything else. That’s insane to me.
Thank goodness it’s 12 next year. Teams 13 and 14 wont even be worth arguing about.

There will absolutely be arguments. This year, we'd be arguing about Penn State, Oklahoma, Liberty, Ole Miss, LSU, Louisville, etc.

It’s a travesty. They got completely robbed.

its absolute madness.

It's them trying to save face, and failing miserably.
If this was really about the injury, they wouldn't have had Florida State in the top four after it happened.

It’s gonna be even more of a shite show when a 9-3 Bama gets in every single time over a 11-1 Louisville or Utah.

Lol I get what you’re saying but damn , kinda hard to agree. They will need armed security as it is

ESPN went to reporting UGA as maybe best dynasty in college football history to number 6 team in nation due to a 3 point loss in championship game to most successful program in last 10 years. Bad four hours for UGA and college football history. ESPN college football history can all the erased in a day.

That's nothing compared to Gumps if they left them out. They wanted to fight people after their 10-2 teams was left out last year.

Absolutely but we’d be arguing about 2-3 loss teams instead of an undefeated conference champ. None of those teams would get nearly as much sympathy.
8 seems like the right number and they skipped right past it.

Because it's not really about the injury.
It's about the power of the SEC, and more specifically Alabama.
But they can't say that for obvious reasons.

If you’re going by the best 4 argument Georgia should be in. They lost by 3 with their pass catchers hurt and the refs gifting Bama a TD.
FSU got screwed, the committee is a complete joke

Why isn't UGA in?
The 2 time Champs, lost by a field goal.
They are clearly a top 4 team.
Sad.
georgia should be in above all 1 loss teams they havent lost to this year
anything less is less legitimate than biden getting 81m votes.
but we all saw it coming with excuse makers saying bama gets in and FSU is out, and this was even before the bama game was played.
every excuse made to put bama in, also requires georgia to be in
it should be
1 michigan
2 washington
3 texas
4 georgia

If Georgia beats Alabama, FSU is in. When it came down to FSU, Ala, and Texas the committee was to chicken shite to pick between Ala or Texas for the the last spot so they bumped FSU to get 2 spots for both

Nobody got it worse than UGA. They were pushed to the moon all year and immediately dropped like a dirty baby diaper. If they win yesterday they are the best program ever. But today they are behind pac 12 and big 12 teams that had a good year and caught breaks on who lost and when they lost.
