Let’s be honest, if this were any other team, they aren’t getting in with this schedule. How pathetic....

GT
16 Texas AM
@Syracuse
Charlotte
@UNC
Florida St
@Louisville
BC
Wofford
@NC State
Wake Forest
@SC

I realize Clemson is elite, but let’s be fair, that schedule wouldn’t have gotten UCF in the CFP a few years ago. Clemson has zero room for error. They have to go undefeated to make the CFP in my opinion. That schedule is awful and the ACC should be getting crucified by the media for their early season losses, but it’s not for whatever reason.

They scheduled A&M and SC plus their conference. That's enough.

Cause they have hardware. People think they’d be there regardless

They scheduled two SEC teams, not named Vandy or Arkansas.

Winning a title is an auto benefit of the doubt. It’s going to kill the sport as it virtually guarantees Bama and Clemson entry if they have 1 loss but that’s what it is

Because they're the defending champ and will be undefeated at the end of the season. They won't even have a close game imo.

bullshite...if that was Ohio St schedule....we wouldn’t hear the end of it. It’s been like that on here forever. I don’t give two shits how much hardware they got, that schedule isn’t CFP worthy. Period

Do they play a conference schedule that doesn't include Florida and Georgia AGAIN?

If Ohio St had 2 SEC teams scheduled you wouldn't shut up about how hard their schedule is.

And it's not Clemson's fault FSU and Louisville devolved into utter trash.

Be honest, do you think UCF or Boise would lose a game with that schedule? Now, would they get the same benefit of the doubt if they did? You already know the answer...

Boise needed a huge 4Q comeback to beat FSU, so yes I’d see them losing a game. Likely UCF as well.

It’s not their fault the ACC sucks.

It’s the same damn argument for people complaining about the Patriots and their division in the NFL. It’s not their fault everyone else is inept as frick

I vehemently disagree with the op. HOWEVER this same board crushed Notre dames schedule last year even though they played USC, Florida St., Michigan and whoever else last year just because USC and Florida St. had down years like Notre Dame was supposed to plan for that somehow.
