Because you touch yourself.

Because the NBA is gay, wants double headers, and schedules an eternity between games.

NBA playoff scheduling makes no sense whatsoever. The grizz/thunder playedd Tuesday night and don't play again until saturday. Meanwhile, mavs/lakers played last night and play again tomorrow night. I know it's all for tv but there's got to be a better way.

I think I read somewhere they had to have a 3 night break in the Miami/Bos series was cause the Bruins are playing at home on Friday.
I guess basketball at the garden tonight, switch it for hockey friday, and back to basketball on saturday is too much?

Not for the staff - they can get that arena turned around and ready for the next event by sunrise the next day. It's just an excuse for the NBA to drag out the series and make more money later in their operating year, otherwise they'd be done in May.
And it sure as hell isn't the NHL players - a few times this postseason I've seen teams play back to back, with traveling from one city to the other.

Correct. Plus a primetime slot on a SAT is NOT going to get good ratings.

61 days for a maximum of 28 games.
Has any team ever actually played 28 in the playoffs?

The teams in the playoffs want to do it big for Cinco de Mayo also.

I know the Celtics played a shite ton of games when they won the title a few years back.

Plenty of reasons, I could list them all again or you could search the 100's of topics on the subject.
