That is same for all sports! Pro Baseball is still better than College Baseball.

I don't watch pro baseball,haven't in years.I'm just not a fan of any team.
I watch Arkansas baseball because I'm a Hog fan in all sports.
Pro sports bore me these days,no other reason than I just am not interested.
College sports appeal to me more.

Because they still play baseball in college. The college game still displays all the aspects of the game, it’s not a home run or strikeout league.

Depends what you are looking for. I prefer college because there are more possible variables. For example, a groundball gets hit up the middle the shortstop fields, in college its close to 50/50 the runner gets on, in the pros almost all groundballs are sucked up and are auto outs. Like someone else said, the mlb is basically a homerun strikeout league now. All the players have gotten too good at it. That combined with so many games makes it less exciting.

Yea but generally in football you care about your team even when they’re 0-12 because there’s only 12 games and it’s a social event

NFL only has 8 frickin home games and cannot get half the teams to sell out.
Chief fans are regarded as huge supporters, but when they were really bad, they didnt go either.
NFL is a joke when it comes to attendance. 8 fricking home games, when most of the country is dead and starving for something to do, because its cold as frick.

I can see why people would prefer MLB over college but can’t fathom the interest in watching the Biscuits vs the Jumbo Shrimp with rosters that are made up of guys you’ve never heard of either straight out of high school or from another country who aren’t even trying to win. No one gives a crap about our AA team compared to the Razorbacks. College players are straight out of high school too obviously but they are usually from a place you grew up and most of them were die hard fans of the team.
The student sections are what makes college sports great IMO. It was a lot of fun chanting names at the Ole Miss pitcher for eating a booger on national TV. The stadiums are small enough yet SEC fans care enough to make it pretty brutal in the outfields
digging up players’ numbers and pranking them or yelling personal details about them from the berm. And it’s always pretty neat when you have the rare football player who tries out baseball like getting to see Jameis Winston on the mound.

The Indians have a diehard, dedicated fan base. Their lack of attendance is baffling, but I think it has something to do with not wanting to support the Dolans.
