there has been another game this year where tejas was a td-ish fav, and it made no sense, and they lost out right.

Texas is very highly rated by Vegas, they are ranked 10th. Meaning on a neutral field only nine teams would be favored against them.

FYI, FSU is #8 and LSU is #12

The computers love TX. Baylor is coming off a huge letdown loss against their biggest rival

Texas at home is worth -4 so it’s -4.5 on a neutral field

This isn’t last years Baylor. They are 6-5

Not a great spot for Baylor coming off that close heartbreaking loss to TCU. When the line looks off like that best to just stay away.

Baylor sucks. They kept it close against TCU cause they are each other’s #1 rival.

Wouldn’t surprise me if UT wins by two TDs

Like others have said, this is a tough spot for Baylor coming off that heart breaking loss at home last week. Baylor can’t make the BIG 12 title game anymore.

Texas can still make it with a win and Kansas state loss.

Up to 10 now. I'm conflicted because it's a spot where I love to fade teams that "need" a win, especially against teams with little to play for.

Baylor coming out swinging, obviously still early but Vegas seems to love Texas for some reason.

They’ve been favored in every game this year except Bama. Often by a TD or more.

And no, it hasn’t made sense in several games.

Because people will bet it at such a rate the gambling sites will make money -- either off the bets or off the vig or both.
