Yikes, dude. I've never been to the Texas State Fair but it sounds/looks like a freaking blast.

The women you see on tv alone are worth the trip.

Yes. It's the heart of Dallas Bowl

t'd be a travesty if they moved that game.

To me the better question is why didn't they make it home and home when it became a conference game

No, it's always a day game but it's either noon or 2:30 depending on national interest.

2008 was one of the biggest OU/TX games in a long time and it was a noon kickoff. I never remember that game being in a different slot than noon on ABC.

Its almost an equal distance from both schools. It's one of the best traditions in the game. Why end it?

why move when fans other than LSU fans can enjoy the delicacy known as a "corn dog".

Nah. No tailgating, ton of fried food that you pretend to like because it's the fair... it's unique, but it's vastly overrated.

Lots of TX/Red Dirt acts have played the fair in the past.

I'm not sure where to begin with that so I'll be careful on several fronts.

Let's just say this is the one day you have lots of coeds at the fair.. for the game.

The setting for Tex/OU is unique. Something you need to check out.

But it is not better than an epic day of tailgating on a college campus.

Agree with that but the fair is once a year.

I mean, where else can you go to a livestock exhibit, drink beer in wax cups, and see the world's smallest horse before a game? (Aside from aggie games)
