Not really. He has never proven to be a big game guy and he shits the bed everytime he faces a team that gets pressure on him.

No one understands that Stanford was just better than USC? Not a one man team.

Because he's overrated and Andrew Luck is a better QB.

Stanford outphysicaled and outplayed an overrated USC team. The reason why USC was overrated is very simple: all of these pundits saw the talent they had but didn't recognize the lack of depth they had behind them. Probation will do that to you.

Because Stanford is more physical than USC. It is hard to throw the football when the other team is in your face or on top of you.

Ever heard of this guy name Andrew Luck? What about Toby Gerhart?

They were decent players in college

it's kinda weird to think about

He's GOT to be the only USC QB to go 0-4 against Stanford and it has a lot to do with the fact that not many QB's start against a team 4 times in their career

USCs offensive and defensive lines getting completely owned four years in a row was a bigger, more systemic issue

USC had never lost to Stanford four years in a row to begin with

is this a serious question?

ETA: Why would the outcome of 1 game affect his draft status.

Peyton Manning never beat the Gators. That sure hurt his career a ton...

Maybe my sarcams filter is turned off. But the last couple of years Stanford was better than USC. This game was at Stanford. Barkley has all the tools NFL teams look for in a franchise QB os unless someone emerges, he will be the #1 pick I'm sure.

USC's results vs. Stanford is exactly why they have absolutely zero shot at beating a team like Alabama or LSU. Stanford is the most SEC-like team outside of the SEC and they seriously pounded USC to death.

The trenches, mayne...big, strong and physical teams just bludgeon them to death and all they have to fall back on is a good QB who is constantly pressured and a running game against a defense that doesn't miss many tackles.

recipe for disaster for USC, we tried to tell all the USC fans that.

Stanford has been the better coached team all 4 years. They have won the line of scrimmage, and that has allowed them to make more plays with skill position players who would not start for USC (other than Andrew Luck of course).
