Used to think this.
He is just supporting him more because no one else does.

"Romo is Favre-like. Tony is a playmaker."

I really do think that Bama is the 2nd best team in the country and has the best shot at beating LSU. But in this current system I don't think we should see a rematch. It just doesn't make sense to me that while LSU is playing again this weekend, having to risk injury or possibly a chance at the title game (I don't think it really matter if LSU wins or loses though), Bama gets a week off to just wait for the title game. Its almost as if they are being rewarded for losing to LSU.
Plus, I don't think an LSU-Bama championship game will prove a true champion if Bama wins. You would end up with 2 teams, each with one loss to each other. That would not prove a true champion. I would kind of like to see a team that hasn't played LSU yet at least get a chance.
:csb:
Colin Cowherd has a lisp. That's what this thread is about.

I don't necessarily disagree with that. He isn't saying that Romo is as good as Favre, just that he is a similar player. He makes big plays but will make costly ones too. The difference is that Romo makes more costly plays than Favre did.

I dont agree with alot of what Cowherd says but he entertains the shite out of me
Dude can be really funny especially when people call in
SVP RR obviously best but cowherd is funny. I think he takes the contraion (sp?) approach to alot of things to get ppl wound up

Cowherd is such a dbag. He thinks if you don't live in new York or LA and make over a million dollars a year than you have failed at life. That said, I don't really hear a lisp. I'll listen for it next time.

not really, no.
I'm not sure that it's a speech impediment. I thing it's how he talks into the mic, which is a result of poor production or poor signal quality.
That said, I'm in the 'Cowherd is a douch' camp, but not because of any lisp.

Mike Greenberg is super annoying too, he smacks and takes huge deep breaths between sentences
Greenberg has huge, floppy, lazy lips that hang down his chin. That's why he smacks so much IMO.

I haven't noticed it.
But anyone who is this concerned with his supposed speech impediment that they would post about it online is a complete douche-hat.
Who really gives a shite? Grow up, homes.

Yeah it's not really a lisp, in that his "s" sounds like a "th". He is just very salivary in his speech. You can tell that "s" is very wet and a lot of spit comes with it, which is disgusting.
From my infrequent viewing of their horrible show on ESPN2, Greenberg keeps his mouth on the microphone which is equally disgusting.

I don't spend time listening to or putting stock into what ESPN does. I watch football game broadcasts and that is it.
This is the first time I've ever listened to Colin Cowherd on television or the radio for more than 60 seconds.
WTF is up with that lisp? I'm watching ESPN news and his lips are covered with spit. He occasionally wipes them off it gets so bad. You can tell it probably used to be way worse.
I've been saying this tool has an unbearable lisp for like 3 years now. It drives me crazy how everyboy on MSB says they can't hear it.
Thank you for at least validating my opinion. Cowherd's speech impediment is unbearable and makes his shitty opinions even worse.

you dont hear his speech impediment? seriously?
I actually heard it today for the first time, but only when I was watching it on ESPNU. I think it was the combo of watching him talk and hearing him that pointed it out.
You can see it when he talks.

I haven't noticed a lisp, but don't doubt you (or care.)
I thought he was cool for a little while, then realized his m.o. was simply to pick some random topic and pick a side of an argument (that doesn't even exist) and use every stinking way and analogy to prove that side of argument.
I almost never care about whatever point he beats his dead horse for 2 hours about.
What a waste of good radio time. No way I'd watch him on tv, except maybe with sound off, just to see that babe.
